Jo's Co #6

Mais um mês, e como não podia deixar de ser mais um look de alguém que me inspira! Hoje trago-vos a Telma, uma das pessoas que conheci no último ano, mas que rapidamente se tornou bem próxima. Trabalhamos juntas e adoro o estilo clean e descomplicado dela, bem compatível com a sua personalidade. Sabem aquelas pessoas que com pouco esforço estão on point?! É assim a minha Telmíssima. E acho que tudo isto resulta porque na verdade os looks dela são compostos por peças bem básicas, que não se atropelam umas às outras. Percebem o que quero dizer? Aquela máxima do Less is More, que eu falo tanto por aqui, é mesmo verdade. E só para o caso de eu ainda não ter conseguido convencer-vos com os meus looks, tenho aqui uma aliada de peso para que acreditem no que vos digo! Gostam? Estou certa que sim!

Another month, and how could not be missed one more look of someone who inspires me! Today I bring you Telma, one of the people I met last year, but it quickly became very close. We work together and I love the she's clean and uncomplicated style, well compatible with her personality. Do you know those people who with little effort are on point?! So is like that my Telmíssima. And I think all this is because in fact her looks are made up of very basic pieces that don't run over each other. Do you see what I mean? Thankful

Finalmente aqui no blog o primeiro look que usei no Portugal Fashion. Tinha de ser algo básico e simples, mas ainda assim cool, porque ia para o Porto directa do trabalho. Acho que consegui! O que é que vocês acham?!
Mas looks à parte, não é bem disso que quero falar hoje. Nesta edição alguns dos meus designers preferidos viram mudados os seus desfiles para Lisboa, e com muita pena minha não consegui estar presente. Queria muito ver ao vivo as propostas Carlos Gil e Luís Onofre, mas não foi desta! Talvez por isso não estivesse muito entusiasmada para esta edição, até que a Dani me fez saber que uma das minhas youtubers preferidas estava no Porto!!! WHAT?! Deixem-me enquadrar-vos e dizer-vos que a Dani esteve no Paris Fashion Week e andou por lá a pedir que me enviassem beijos. Sério, esta miúda é uma querida! Estava eu a trabalhar e nem acreditei quando recebi vídeos da Vic Ceridono e do Rhaiffe Ortiz a mandarem beijos. Fiquei radiante, mas na altura disse-lhe que só faltava um kiss da Luísa Accorsi! E não é que o mundo é redondo mesmo, e eu consegui estar com ela no Porto?! Vocês não estão a entender o xitex aqui da pessoa. Não disse coisa com coisa mas adorei! É bom perceber que afinal aquelas pessoas que acompanhamos e adoramos são exactamente aquilo que esperamos que elas sejam! Super queridas e atenciosas, nada snobs, sério! Foi tão giro!!! Belisquem-me que ainda não estou em mim!!
P.s.: Nesta edição levei comigo a "minha Muriel", que me tirou estas fotos! Quem é fã da Luísa Accorsi vai perceber quem é ela. Para quem não é, fiquem ligados, porque é sobre ela o próximo "Jo's Co". E desculpem o granulado das fotos, a luz não estava excelente, foi o melhor que conseguimos, mas mesmo assim eu gostei do resultado.

Finally here in the blog the first look I used on Portugal Fashion. It had to be something basic and simple, but still cool, because I was going to Porto directly from work. I think I got it! What do you think?!
But looks aside, that's not quite what I want to talk about today. In this edition some of my favorite designers have changed their parades to Lisbon, and with great sorrow I couldn't be present. I really wanted to see on live the proposals from Carlos Gil and Luís Onofre, but it wasn't possible this time! Maybe that's why I wasn't very enthusiastic about this edition, until Dani let me know that one of my favorite youtubers was on Porto!!! WHAT?! Let me frame you and tell you that Dani was at Paris Fashion Week and there she askerd some of my idols to send me kisses. Seriously, this girl is a sweetheart! I was working and I couldn't believe it when I got videos from Vic Ceridono and Rhaiffe Ortiz sending kisses to me. I was radiant, but at the time I told her that was only missing one kiss from Luísa Accorsi! And it's not that the world is even round, and I managed to be with her in Porto?! You are not understanding excitement here of the person. Didn't say thing with thing but I loved it! It's good to realize that all those people that we follow and adore are exactly what we expect them to be! Super dear and thoughtful, nothing snobs, seriously! It was so cute!!! Pinch me, I'm not in me yet!!
P.s.: In this edition I took "my Muriel" with me, who took these pictures! Whoever who's Luísa Accorsi's fan will realize who she is. For those who aren't, stay tuned, because it's about her the next "Jo's Co". And excuse the grainy photos, the light wasn't great, it was the best we could, but I still liked the result.

Rock

Hey! Alguém desse lado ainda? Sim, eu sei... tenho andado ausente aqui do blog, mas vocês sabem, entre Moda Lisboa, treinos que me deixam completamente KO, alguns eventos, trabalho, trabalho, trabalho e Portugal Fashion, tem sobrado pouco tempo para vos mostrar aqui o que tenho vestido. Não é por falta de conteúdo, é mesmo falta de tempo!! (Tenho de aprender a gerir melhor tudo isto)
Este look é um dos que tenho aqui há dias para mostrar. Usei-o pela segunda vez no Moda Lisboa, sim, eu repito as combinações de roupa se gostar mesmo delas! E sim também, eu não sou pessoa de me vestir de forma diferente para um evento de moda! Claro que não usaria esta saia no trabalho, mas podia perfeitamente ter saído assim à noite. Confesso que não gosto muito de ir a eventos de moda e ver pessoas com looks a gritar "olhem para mim!". Eu sei que é comum arriscar-se mais nessas ocasiões, e claro que há pessoas que conseguem segurar determinadas peças mais extravagantes com uma facilidade extrema, mas isso depende muito da atitude, e isso meus amigos não se compra! Por isso o melhor mesmo é jogar pelo seguro, sermos nós mesmo, assim não vai falhar. Concordam?

Hey! Someone on that side yet? Yes, I know... I've been absent here from the blog, but you know, between Moda Lisboa, workouts that leaves me completely KO, some events, work, work, work and Portugal Fashion, there is little time left to show you here what I have dressed. Not for lack of content, it's really lack of time !! (I have to learn to manage all this better)
This look is one of the ones I have here for days to show. I used it a second time at Moda Lisboa, yes, I repeat the combinations of clothes if I really like them! And yes also, I'm not person to dress differently for a fashion event! Of course I would not wear this skirt at work, but I could perfectly well dress this to a night out. I confess that I don't really like to go to fashion shows and see people with outfits shouting "look at me!". I know that it's common to risk more on these occasions, and of course there are people who can wear certain extravagant pieces with extreme ease, but that depends a lot on the attitude, and that my friends you can't buy! So the best thing is to play it safe, be ourselves, so it will not fail. Do you agree?

La vie en Rose

Que a vida não é um mar de rosas já todos sabemos. Mas depende apenas de nós torna-la mais próxima disso! E para mim os domingos são rosas meus senhores. Sem pressas, com tempo para ficar na ronha, caminhar de manhã perto da praia, apanhar solzinho bom, ficar numa esplanada a beber ou petiscar qualquer coisa, estar despenteada se me apetecer, e claro vestir tudo o que me apetece e que durante a semana continua a ficar encostado no armário. Estou a referir-me aos saltos altos, que não uso no trabalho, mas também a esta blusa linda, que encontrei nos últimos saldos. É da Bershka, e eu que já não encontro quase nada que me fique bem naquela loja (sim, convenhamos que o público alvo é bem mais teen que eu), encontrei esta blusa de traçar linda e mega fofa por uns 7€, acho! Apesar de a achar um mimo acho também que é demasiado decotada para usar durante a semana na fábrica. Não quero ter metade daquela gente a olhar para o meu decote!!! Alguém mais como eu? Digam-me por favor que não sou a única a deixar de usar a peça X ou Y no trabalho!
Mas vá, enquanto a segunda não começa vou-me mantendo assim, à vontadinha!! Bom resto de domingo e boa semana.*

That life is not a sea of roses we all know. But it only depends on us to make it closer to that! And for me Sundays are roses, my lords. Without hurry, with time to stay on bed in the morning, with morning walks near the beach, with time to get a sunshine, stay on an esplanade to drink or snack on anything, with disheveled hair if I want it, and of course dress everything I like that during the week continues lost in the closet . I'm referring to high heels, which I don't use at work, but also to this beautiful blouse, which I found in the last balances. It's from Bershka,
and me, who almost don't find anything that suits me at that store (yes, let's face it, the target audience is a lot more teen than me), I found this beautiful and mega-cute blouse for about 7€, I think! Although I find it a treat I also think it's too low cut to wear during the week in the factory. I don't want to have half of those people looking at my cleavage!!! Anyone else like me? Please tell me that I'm not the only one to stop using X or Y piece at work!
